Event Title: “IRCITE: International Research Conference on Information Technology Education”

I. Details of the Event/Activity:

On March 8, 2024, we attended the International Research Conference on Information Technology Education (IRCITE) 2024. It was held at Wesleyan University, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija. This event was hosted by the Philippine Society of Information Technology Educators (PSITE) – Central Luzon.

 

II. Reflections on the Webinar/Activity (Learnings): 

Attending IRCITE 2024 was an excellent learning experience. We learned about new concepts and technology in IT education. Experts spoke on various topics, and we then discussed them. It helped us better grasp IT education.

 

III. Reflections on Possibilities for Practical Application of Learning:

 What I gained at IRCITE 2024 may be applied in real life. For example, we can apply new concepts to improve our IT classes. Also, understanding about teamwork might help us collaborate more effectively on projects.

 

IV. Positive Feedback (on the Event Organization):

 The organizers did an excellent job with IRCITE 2024. Everything was meticulously prepared, from sign-up to the sessions. We also appreciated the social activities and competitions. It was an enjoyable and instructive experience.

 

V. Suggestions for Improvements/Considerations for Future Activities:

 More interactive workshops at future events would be ideal. Workshops or hands-on activities may make learning even more pleasant. Also, allowing virtual participation may encourage more people to participate, even if they are unable to attend in person. 

In conclusion, IRCITE 2024 was a worthwhile event that taught us a lot about IT education. We are grateful for the chance to attend and look forward to utilizing what we learnt in our studies and work.

This course provided an introduction to React JS, a popular JavaScript framework maintained by Facebook, Instagram, and several other companies.   E xperiences and Lessons Learned in Work Environment My OJT was at Angel C Manglicmot High School in Brgy. Angeles San Antonio Zambales. At first, I was scared and thrilled, and it was difficult for me to engage with them since it was work from home. To think about it, they were professionals, and I was just a student trainee, and I couldn't interact with them effectively over internet. After the training, I realized that OJT is more than simply a need to be fulfilled; it is also an opportunity to demonstrate my abilities, knowledge, and talents, as well as to experience the sense of being a professional.
